Company History

ID Label, Inc. was founded in 1994 with one digital press, a rewind table, and one employee. The main focus was to provide custom preprinted bar code labels to value-added resellers and OEM's.

In 2001, ID Label merged with ICS of America, a leading supplier of bar code labels and equipment to the library marketplace. This successful merger has propelled ID Label / ICS of America to the forefront of the auto ID industry and gained the combined companies national recognition.

In September 2004, ID Label, Inc. agreed to purchase the rights to the equipment and customer base of Imagescan, Inc. 76 Commercial Way, East Providence, RI 02914. This greatly strengthened and expanded our capabilities in the Variable Imaging and Pre-Print Barcoding industries. With this purchase, we added the ability to produce long run variable imaging products, as well as, strengthened our line-up of digital multi-color, harsh environment labels.

Our company has grown, product lines have expanded and we continue to add capacity and resources, but we have not forgotten what has made us successful. Things have changed over the years, but one important mission hasn't: our commitment to providing the finest products with zero defects.
