The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and programming of jobs for manufacturing/production processes using various software applications.

Description:

• Design, format and program production jobs using windows based design software
• Clarify and manipulate database layouts with sales department prior to production
• Review production specifications and interface with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the production process as it pertains to job design and programming
• Research material specifications and provide sales staff with material documentation to support sales effort.
• Support sales department by creating proofs and design specifications
• Work in coordination with other departments to ensure orders are processed within specified and agreed upon dates, production schedule and customer expectations.

Requirements:

• Must posses excellent communication and time management skills
• Detail oriented person, who is an independent problem solver
• 1 year college level course work in a computer related field required
• Barcode label or related industry experience a major plus.
• Working knowledge of graphics design software under windows environment
• Computer Literacy (Intermediate MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
• PC Support, LAN support, Windows XP troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Computer programming experience using various programming languages and tools a plus.
